For the past few summers, one common thing remains; from the ramps to the streets, it is there and has lasted a long time. What am I talking about? Well, it’s a trend but not in clothing, today I have taken up footwear and I am covering the gladiator sandals.
I have loved their style and feel and have lots of them. I am one of those who hope that they will last a few more summers until something more comfortable and happening comes up that can replace them. However, I am rather sure that short people have been praying for them to get off as the fashion mantra.

I liked gladiators, the first reason being I am pretty tall and thus, can only go for plain flip flops and their kinds. Gladiators suit me and I find them comfortable too. They are great for a walk downside or even a shopping spree.

You can wear them for a party too, just keep in mind that you wear gladiators that have some bling factor or embellishments on them. I love the pairs that are heavily embellished and they do look great even with a simple pair of blue jeans and white t shirt.

With the skinny jeans back in fashion, they are more in demand as they add up to the jeans. The t bar sandals are making waves too and they don’t differ much then the gladiators really.

But I really can’t go for them as I have a little bit wide feet. So, I have remained stick to the same style for I guess the last two summers. They are a hot favorite among the (tall)celebrities too.

What I won’t ever go for will be the leather patent gladiators. They are definitely not my style. For the ordinary jobs you can stick to pairs of gladiators with plain colors and for some beach trips and parties you can go for a pair or two with studs and embellishments. The last reason I really like them is because they give me that bohemian feel.

On the other note, I have seen people wearing them in the winters too. And that looks completely out of style. So, just a reminder, gladiators are meant just for the stylish summers.
