The 4-inch heels are not the best things to wear. Courtesy modern podiatry, the latest must-have item for any red carpet event is a foot-lift.

A very short procedure that last for just a few minutes and pains like a bee sting, only for two seconds, involves injecting a collagen enhancer into the ball of the foot. Dr. Suzanne Levine a self-described pioneer in cosmetic foot surgery says,

Levine explains that the process is not painful. In the process, polylactic acid, referred to as sculptra, is injected in the ball of the foot.

The treatment is a boon, not only for the red carpet walkers, but anybody who has a standing job, wearing high heels. Many airhostesses are said to have benefited from this technique.
