UK based car insurance company Sheilas’ Wheels has come up with ‘Sheila Driving Heel’ - a shoe with a new design idea that makes driving for women both fashionable and safe. This shoe can change from stilettos into a stylish pair of heels just with one push of a button.

Heels have no grip, can get stuck under the pedal , on the other hand, flat shoes reduces pressure on the knee and lower back and increases the grip on the pedals.

Jacky Brown, spokesperson for Sheilas’ Wheels, said:

It’s astonishing that so many women are putting themselves, their passengers and other drivers at risk by wearing the wrong shoe or no shoe at all whilst behind the wheel. Stilettos, sling-backs and strappy sandals aren’t the sensible choice when it comes to controlling a car.

According to surveys, two thirds of the questioned women admitted to driving while wearing heels and around a third had worn flip-flops. Around 18% had worn no shoes while driving, which is dangerous and is currently illegal in some parts of the world.

The survey has also discovered that there is a general lack of awareness among women with more than half of them admitting to have believed that sports trainers were the safest to drive in - in spite of their thick soles and plump design which restricts the control over the pedals.

This stilettos-heels shoe is a futuristic concept for sophisticated women. So Girls, start now and find your own pair!

An Italian designer designed this highly valuable shoe in gold under the invitation from World Gold Council. Last week, at a jewelry shop in Wuhu, Anhui Province an employee showed this luxurious shoe made from around 680g pure gold. Metallic shoes and handbags are in trend but pure metals ... make me think!

If my grandmother acknowledges this, she will be fuming because gold is a pious metal and it is not accepted if anyone adorns his or her feet with it. Somehow, with modernization, this thought is ruled over and you see many women prettify their feet with traditional anklets made of gold instead of silver. There is no word whether the shoe is for sale; however, I am sure it was a real eye-candy for you.

It is summer and flip flops are the ultimate footwear to give comfort besides an elegant look to your feet. Keeping this in mind, Free People has designed the rose flip flops using soft leather that is topped by a leather rose. Being flat you can even wear the pair for a long day’s work also.

The flip flops available in four colors blue, black, yellow and red, and 6-10 sizes will go well with your different outfits.

They’re sweet, attractive, and make a great accessory all summer long.

Priced at just $68 buying them would be a fair deal.

This week at 7 World Trade Center in New York City, John Galliano unwrapped his Cruise 2008 Collection for Christian Dior. Beautiful models appeared on clear white runway in bright colors, wide jeweled/animal print headbands, vintage cat-eye sunglasses and Indian-inspired tunics in the ready-to-wear line.

The collection is quite appealing but I’m sure like me even you’ll be flabbergasted to see these bubble peep-toes. Bright colors and unique style heels that make them my choice.

Glamour was sprinkled on the show with the presence of Kylie Minogue, Penolope Curz, Dita Von Teese and Alexis Roche.

Hey guys be careful when you wear these sky-high heels as something like this can also happen to you.

Here comes a shoe to pamper you at the functional as well as the emotional level. The moment you feel that you are bored off that shoe design...all you need to do is just peel off the top layer and there you have an all new jazzy shoe waiting.

Designed by David Sheridan, this unique shoe is called Rivela. The simple idea behind this unique shoe is sticking variable designs on the same base, each to be revealed every new season.

Sometimes, I wish if I could have the color of one shoe and style of another one, as at times it is difficult to get both in one pair. But now with Steve Madden Online I have no worries as becoming a designer, I can design my own shoes.

The only thing you need to do is:

1. Go to SteveMadden.com
2. Click on Design Your Own
3. Choose a style that is flat, loafer, pumps, wedges, etc
4. Click ‘customize style’ for choosing colours
The shoe shown is designed the same way. I could have gone for flats, my favorite, but I decided to try something outside of my comfort zone. I like these because they remind me of ballroom dancing shoes.

Honestly speaking, I can’t figure out the intentions of the designer who went overboard to create these thorny sandals which can give the porcupine a run for its deadly pricks.

I am not at all good at grasping weird ideas, but I can vouch for the fatal attributes of these killer sandals. If I were a girl, I would have definitely given it a try.

But despite their killing nature, I have to admit, these sandals are really beautiful. They are gorgeous enough to make you stand out among millions. The killer thorns possess a wild charm that can tame the wildest of spectator and the thin ankle-strap looks sturdy enough to keep the sandals from flying off.

Want to have these killer heels in your footwear collection? Fine, fasten your seatbelts and proceed on a search mission, because I don’t have the weirdiest idea about the whereabouts of these dangerous sandals.

All the best.

When I read diamond sandals... my mind opened its doors and all fantasies hovered in. I was sailing in my imagination, suddenly flip-flops on which these diamonds are supported caught my eyes and my face turned long.

No doubt diamonds on these black sandals are looking good but don’t you think for diamonds even footwear should be matchless? May be flip-flops are comfortable but for diamonds this is not the right choice. Diamond are precious similarly the sandals on which they are supported should be a party wearer types like stiletto, sky-high heels, metallic sandals or anything that correlates with chicness.

I don’t know about you but I am not at all ready to pay $20,000 for Snake Charmer flip-flops at Moszkito featured 24 round, full-cut, high quality diamonds (6 carats total), but yeah, if the sandal is changed I will not think about the price and grab them right away.
